With an International career spanning over 17 years teaching  Pilates, rehabilitation, postural realignment and body-mind movement Kathy brings a high level of expertise and dedication to her work. Her journey began during her years as a fitness coach and personal trainer driven by a desire to understand the intricate connections between body, mind, and movement. Over the years, she has honed her skills through continuous study and research and gained extensive experience working with a diverse clientele worldwide including professional athletes, ballet dancers, rehabilitation clients, and wellness enthusiasts.

 

Kathy has collaborated closely with and taught pilates to rehabilitation specialists, osteopaths, and high-profile clients, including renowned figures from Europe and the Middle East. Her clients, who range from ages 12 to 90, benefit from her meticulous attention to detail and her passion for seeing body-mind transformation. Kathy is dedicated to delivering tailored, effective programs that support each individual's health and wellness journey, improving their postural alignment and eliminating chronic pain, leading to a healthier life and future.

Kathy has been practising meditation for many years. She studied metaphysics with Rod Briggs, Mindlink Foundation and has also attended Vipassana courses.
 

Kathy was inspired to create Purely Connect retreats since she is  aware of the detrimental effects that wireless technology has on our health and on all living beings on Earth. She has experienced the benefits of living without a smartphone and wishes others to truly experience the benefits too!

Our Approach

Our transformative retreats will nourish and rejuvenate your body, mind and soul, help you to stay  grounded and connect you to life and the present moment, here and now.


We have chosen beautiful, peaceful locations immersed in Nature, with very little or No WIFI, so as to make the retreats truly ecological , respecting biodiversity, the animals, birds and the bees. A pure digital detox.


Far from the madding crowds and the distractions of digital technology, you will be able to thoroughly reap the benefits of Pilates, Garuda and other mindfulness activities in contact with nature, such as forest bathing foraging and nature walks . All of which will nourish and rejuvenate your body, mind and soul, help you to stay grounded and connect you to life and the present moment, here and now.
